Westland Tai Poutini National Park

Te Ara A Waiau Walkway/Cycleway

This track goes beyond the south bank of the Fox River into an ancient podocarp forest. You can recognize the various ages of the different moraines of the retreating glacier. 40 mins into the trail, you reach a car park, beyond which bicycles are not allowed.
